Pitch

The movie I will present will be about a tuff subject suicide. I have dealt with such a hard subject although I'm so young which proves it could happen to anyone. I wish it could send a message of suicide prevention as I feel everyone needs that sense of comfort. My story is about a girl who walks onto a tall building or bridge and think about jumping to her death. While she's doing that someone notices her and wonders what she is doing. When they see she is really going to jump, the decide to call out to her and tell her to stop. The girl wonders why a stranger cares so much and stops. The two people end up having a deep conversation and the boy/girl goes to where the girl is sitting. They bot wonder how life has brought them to this point. In the end the girl either jumps or not. I feel like this film is the type to bring closure. It will be a a suspense and drama. 

This story will bring the attention of viewers as it is a touchy subject, but it is continuously seem to harm this generation. They will be no specific costumes as I want it to be seen as a thing that can happen at anytime. I want the camera to seem raw but also at a dreamy state so it could entrance the viewers while showing such a complicated subject. There will possibly be make-up as I want the cast to have this young and dreadful look. This is not a topic that is usually filmed where the characters actually talk about their feeling towards the world and why suicide has become an option to most. I want to bring out that rawness in this 5 minute short film as it is a something that I am apart of. I hope everyone is fine in the end of the day and I want to film something that can help fundamentally.
