The hostage film seems to do a montage with guns, buildings, and people dressed as soldiers and killers. This also enforces the genre as it brings suspense and crime with the psychological approach. The camera pans across the scene, alternating between wide and close shots, the tension builds, climaxing the opening scene. The only enigma known is that the dad guy is not known. They used editing as a definite skill along with the harmonious editing skills. This targets the audience with high sequence and big acts of action. This film opening is very I  you obvious which most young adults aim for in a movie.
